I'm trying to clean songs off of my Ipod Nano that are NOT on any of my playlists. As I'm sure everyone knows, deleting the playlist doesn't delete the songs... But if its not on a playlist, I don't want it on my Ipod.
Anyways... I'm looking for a good program (or even plugin) that will sort my songs on my Ipod by what playlist(s) they're on, and/or give me a number of playlists a particular song is on.
Thanks in advance!

deleting the playlist doesn't delete the songs.
You need to hold down the Shift key while pressing the delete key and this combination will delete songs from a playlist as well as from the Nano. If you want to delete the playlist + the songs within it then highlight the playlist title and hold down the Shift key while pressing the delete key and the list + all the songs will be removed from the Nano. If your using a Mac computer the key combination is Option + Delete. You can only do this in manual mode on the iPod.
To find which songs are in what playlist you can highlight the song and right click. On the menu there is an option I think it's 'Show in playlist' which will show what playlists a song has been added too.
As far as software goes I don't know of any that will do what you want but you can check Software Compendium (http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=2286) at the top of this forum. Third party software is listed on that thread.
