I just got the Black iTrip from Griffin Technologies and have noticed worse audio quality compared to the 3G version that came out for the 3G iPod I used to have. I still can barely hear the music with the speakers at full level and with the iPod showing the entire volume bar filled. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this or if it means I should send the iTrip back for another? Also I have a 2002 Ford Escape with 6-disc indash and was wondering what was a good way to get my iPod to work with the stereo with the best sound quality for the most affordable price? I'm in college and this is my first car I'm paying on so trying to be budget minded haha but would love to hear some opinions on affordable ways to make my beautful Escape more iPod friendly. Thanks.
