I could of sworn I hit post but maybe not, anyway.....

Have neoprene cases come futher along in the last 2 years? I have an original everythingipod neoprene case (which looks like the neopod case in the reviews but with the post clip) with the post clip for my 1G and found it to be too flimsy for active stuff, it would sag on my waistband. So I used my extrememac case for walking and stuff after that.

I'm looking at new cases for my 3G. While the Apple case is certainly nice, I'd like to be able to access the buttons while using it.

I'd also like to be able to retain the post clip system as I have those mounts in 2 of my cars, although I may work on a dock mount for the street car.

I'll be hitting some stores to see if I can find some of the cases people are raving/not raving about to look at them for myself. I like the look of the Marware cases but they use a propritary clip it seems.

The ExtremeMac case is so well priced for leather and it's durability but people are complaining about the velcro? <sigh>

Well, any feedback on neoprene stability in the backing would be great, I didn't see anything about that when I searched - thanks!

The only complaint I have about my 1G ExtremeMac case was the flip over cover. Once I got the remote it wasn't as much of an issue.

But..... I'm keeping my 1G for active stuff and will use my 3G for the car and office etc and the cover is more of a PITA in the car, but maybe I won't use a case at all if I mount a dock.... so many more options!

The newer extrememac case looks pretty nice as well. Are there any that allow docking without flipping a cover up or is the dock just too snug for that?

I see you have an Exo as well, what do you use each case for?

Thanks! :)

Actually, it is recommended that when u dock ur iPod during its charge cycle, u should take ur iPod out of its case to allow the unit to cool down when it is charging....The case will insulate the heat and keep your HD hot which is a big NO-NO.

I do have an EXO case and i rarely use it...I dont like the feel of it and the color kinda looks childish to me...I like the Extrememac case because its a more distinguished and elegant style for me. I love its black and sleek design.
