Holds up to normal wear and tear as well, if not better than I expected. Check out this video.

That was very painfull to watch. But i'm surprised the iphone is so enduring, ipod would not have been so lucky. I still want to get a case for my iPhone though.

That made my cringe! But it proves that no one really needs a screen protector or anything. Nice!

I think all the people that rushed out and bought screen protectors are feeling a bit foolish today. I met a guy over the weekend that had one on his iPhone, and it looked like crap already. I took mine out of my pocket, ran my keys over it in front of him, and he just said "Well that's interesting...what did I spend $6 on." I said "a clear sticker" and he laughed.
I'm sure the nay-sayers will find something to complain about though...

Im still going to protect the screen some how. [powersupport or invisible shield]. Even though its some kind of glass, its still going to scratch. Heck, my car windows are scratched. My nice expensive wrist watch faces are scratched.

Except for the concrete drop, for which they show the resulting stainless steel bezel scuffs, the video deals only with the screen. I wonder how the much softer aluminum back stands up to the key test ...

They showed the front and the back. If the brushed aluminum back had been damaged, they would have said something about it.

besides, this came off as more of a practical test, not a aesthetics test. They were trying to see how much "normal" abuse would render the iphone un usable or virtually un-usable. Many people could care less if their ipods or iphones get scratched, as long as they still work.
