help with my exisiting contract

i currently am part of a family plan through verizon wireless and i cant take my own line off until december unless i pay a fee of $175. does anybody know anyway to avoid paying this fee and still take one line off the family plan now. the reason being is because i dont want to pay that fee but if it comes down to it im unfortunatley going to have to wait till december to get the iphone which doesnt sound fun.

do you have unlimited roaming? If so you need to give your phone to a friend outside verizon's calling area (some place sprint owns the towers) and have your friend make as many calls as they can (burn through nights and weekends and what not) Sooner or later they will ask you to leave their network.

You can also try telling them you are moving to another country, I've heard it works -- but look into it on the web before trying either of these things.
