iPhone Feature Request - Keyboard in Contacts List

Does anybody else really want this feature implemented? The contacts list is cool for browsing, yeah... but if you know exactly who you want to go to, it takes too long to slide through and find them. If there was a button on the bottom of the screen to pop up a keyboard and start typing their name it would save a lot of time.

This comes from my experiences as a Windows Mobile user and the ability to just start typing a name at the main screen makes finding contacts so quick.

The way I thought of doing this is touch the contacts button again to open the keyboard. They could also have it on the iPod seeing as 5th gen iPods have this.
