How is everyones Internet experience on their iPhone? I like it, except the edge is slow, safari quit on me umexpecticly twice, and the flash player seems to be rather crappy, and if I have two pages open, the process of switching is a little laggy. Other than that I like it.
Ps I'm making this post on my 8 gb iphone

EDGE is slow; WiFi is not as ubiquitous as some think. However, I have not been too terribly annoyed by the speed, despite my other phone having HSDPA and UMTS.
Flash is a known omission. ::shrug:: Less annoying ads. :)

There is no flash. Wi-Fi works great. And everyone keeps #####ing about edge, but its work fine for me. Stream higher-compressed you tube just fine, internets runs at a decent speed (my old treo650 is SLOOOOOOOOOOW on the "net")
So, my impressions are its really good for what it is. True internet on a device that was never really supposed have it.

To be fair, EDGE is one of those "your-mileage-may-vary" things, and despite some accusations of it being dial-up speeds, it's not technically true. EDGE technically supports speeds of up to 384kbps, although you'll rarely do better than about 160kbps on any North American EDGE network that I've ever used.
Lower speeds on EDGE are generally the result of poor implementation by the carrier, as opposed to serious limitations of the technology. 3G networks are subject to the same issues.... If the carrier doesn't implement it properly, it's not going to be nearly as fast as it's capable of.

Wi-Fi has been very fast in my home. The edge has worked pretty well too.
Last night I went to dinner with my 10 year old daughter. ( Was nice, just the two of us. Mom and big sister out of town! ) I was showing her the features of the phone and as soon as she found out about the Youtube feature it was all over, i.e., you couldn't pry the phone out of her hands. At least all the places we roamed, the Edge network was able to stream Youtube video. Once I caught the video not keeping up with the audio. We were driving in a canyon at the time. I can deal with that. No, I wasn't driving in the canyon watching Youtube. She told me the video halted andI could hear the audio. BTW, now that I have an iPhone with working speakers ( a different story ) I am quite pleased with the performance of the phone as a player to use even without earphones.
