This is one of the cases that is sold in Apple stores.

Do not get this case. I just got it and the case itself is solid, but the biggest fault is the holster. At first sight, the holster looks like its made of cheap plastic. The iPhone (especially with earphones attached) can come loose and fall out of the holster if it's tugged in the right direction with even the smallest of force.

I was testing this case and already dropped the phone once (thank god it was on carpet). Case has good aesthetics and appealing to the eye, but when it comes down to build quality, quality of materials, and its design, it falls short on many aspects.

Does it add much bulk to the iphone?

Same thing happened to me, but I must've been working off some karmic debt as I was solidly afoot on a marble floor. The dent is small, but real. Stupid case.

yeah it does. The belkin acrylic case is much slimmer. The belt clip on the iSee is stupid cheap and clunky...

I had a similar experience with Contour Design's Showcase for 5.5 gen iPod. While holstered, the case itself slipped open because of the loose locks and dropped my iPod to the gravel. One scratch on the screen and a huge dent at the bottom left corner are now a testament and constant reminder to my uneducated case choice.

Their cases are not only overrated, but dangerous to the iPod, the good reviews it receives here are really undeserving.

I switched to iSkin Evo, which only dropped once on concrete because it was actually MY fault, and the iPod was completely unharmed (along with the case :)). If I get an iPhone/iPod Touch, I'd go for the iSkin Revo.

Didn't the manufacturer rev iSee because of the holster complaints? I had one as my first case and hated the holster at the time, but didn't notice any problems with locking mechanism other than it was a real pain to get the phone in and out of there. Then again, I've never dropped the thing so I guess I'll rely on your opinion.
