Hey all,

I'm based in the UK so unfortunately have to wait until later this year before I can get my hands on an iPhone!

...so hopefully you guys can let me know how Notes works on iPhone? I know you can create Notes directly on the iPhone and that these get backed up/synced to the computer when the iPhone is docked, but can you create Notes on the computer and sync them to the iPod? If so, how?

When the Notes are synced to the computer from iPhone, can you see them in an iTunes folder on the hard disk?

Cheers for any feedback!

Rod.

The short answer is that they're not. Notes do not synchronize from the iPhone at all, nor do they synchronize to the iPhone.

You can attach them to e-mails, but that's about it.

There has been some speculation that this feature may come in Leopard for Mac users, since a system-wide "Notes" application is expected to be present. I'm not sure what, if anything, Apple might do for Windows users (sync to Outlook 2003 memos, perhaps).
