From an article on this site says that Rogers Wireless plans to offer the iPhone to Canadian customers, but this makes me wonder, if the iPhone is AT&T exclusive is Rogers connected to AT&T in some way?
The iPhone is an AT&T exclusive in the US. Apple will be doing deals with different networks in other countries.

Rogers says they will announce new phones in August... So hopefully they will make an official announcement then... Rogers is the only GSM network in Canada so they will get the iPhone, it's just a matter of time. I'm gonna say in the fall most likely...

Just spoke to a nice customer service rep who said that Rogers has a 6-month holdback from US availability. If you can trust anything from Rogers:D

No, not exactly. For a while, AT&T had about 1/3rd ownership in Rogers Wireless, and they therefore had branded the wireless division Rogers AT&T. However, this was just a branding, and other than the U.S. firm's holdings, and of course some roaming agreements, there was no further relationship between them.
AT&T has since divested itself of most of its shares in Rogers Wireless, selling them back to the parent company, Rogers Communications, and the AT&T branding was dropped in the process.
