View Full Version : anyone found a way to either mark all your emails as read, or delete an entire inbox?

My iphone sync'd my entire mail setup, including emails. I have everything marked as read in mail, but on my iphone it decided to mark everything unread and its annoying because I can only figure out how to delete them individually, or go through and view them all one at a time.

i use gmail, there is an option when i was enabling the POP mode. i can let the email i receive "from now on" go pop, not the rest.
also, i let my iPhone display only the 25 most recent emails

hmm, that doesnt really work for me. I have 3 email accounts set up on it... i really just need a "mark all as read" button. like mail has.

Please make sure you submit this suggestion in to Apple via the feedback link. See iPhone FAQ's sticky for the link located at the top of this forums. The feedback link is at the bottom of the first post.
There also needs to be a lesser amount under 'Show' for mail so you can have less than 25 emails showing and only get the recent emails from a certain date. I don't need all of my old emails being added to my iPhone. I only saved them for reference and now they are on my iPhone.

Yeah, I agree with that. It would be nice to limit iPhone to the last 10 - 15. The current low limit of 25 is a little too many for my taste too.
