1) Does anyone know if the iPhone will work with a pre-paid account?
2) DO you have to activate the iPhone with a AT&T to use the internet & the iPod?

No pre-paid account is available. Yes, the phone must be activated using iTunes to use all of it's features. AT&T is the only carrier.

Prepaid account is available only to people with low credit. This was a surprised when I did the activation, worked out for me. I only need 200 minutes and paying $20 dollars less :)
