With the ipod line out voltage being ~1volt, could you not wire it via a dock connector to the RCA inputs on any amp?
Adjust the gain on the amp properly and you'd have a ipod only music system in the car.
The next step would be to create an attenuation circuit in line with the signal and it'd act like a volume control. Becuase, as i understand it, the line out has no volume control.
Any ideas? Id like to do it to eliminate the radio in the car. Just have the ipod. but to clarify, not thru the headphone jack, thru the bottom line out signal.
