I have an belkin iTrip that plugs directly into my lighter and from there into the dock on the ipod, and also an auxiliary jack, which I also have running into the stereo system. Everything was working fine, until Monday this week.
Now I get no audio from either output source, but when I plug in headphones it's fine. I can also load new stuff onto it as well as listen to to files put on it from another computer.
Mind you I live in San Diego and our summer season is never less than 85°. I'm wondering if the interior heat didn't mess with something in both the iTrip and the aux. jack. Reason being from about 9:30a to about 1030p once the dash cools down, it doesn't work after it cools down, it works through the auxiliary.
It's all so baffling.. Anyone have any suggestions? :confused:
