For fathers day my dad got a JVC KD-HDR1 HD Radio system for his car. To go along with it we also got the included JVC iPod adapter (the KD-PD100 I believe) which works just fine their 60GB iPod.
The issue is my dad's iPod Shuffle, which he also wants to listen to in the car. Since to my knowledge there are no other inputs on this JVC deck, I was thinking if there might be a way to convert the signal from the Shuffle to the iPod Dock Connector attached to the iPod Adapter. I am not sure however how the KD-PD100 works and if it would even pass through an audio-only signal from the Shuffle to the car stereo.
The one product I found which I believe might suit the purposes of connecting to the shuffle to the iPod Dock Adapter was the Griffin Dock Adapter for iPod Shuffle.

It looks like this will allow the iPod to be connected to the included male Dock cord that goes to the stereo, but my question is if anyone knows whether or not the audio will actually be picked up by the stereo.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
