I always had a hard time getting any in car solution to work in my RSX-S. I tried multiple tape solutions and wireless but could not get anything to work.. Until now!
I decided to give the tape thing a try again and found an older Sony tape converter in my basement. I went out to my car and plugged her in and couldn't get any sound as usual. I pressed the "Prog" button (I think it's #1) and voilla! The sound is pretty close to CD quality (unaudiable to me with everything @ 320). It's nice because I can't hear any static coming from the tape deck and I don't even think it spins the tape because I can't hear any noise from the tape deck.
If anyone has an RSX is curious what tape adapter I have, I'll remember to write down the model number next time I'm in my car (I think it's like 4-5 years old). Best solution I've found so far though.. Good luck!:D
Oh.. To top it all off, I found a brand new Monster car charger for $12 which made me happy :P
