can anyone tell me if and how i can get music videos and games on my ipod nano

The short answer is no. The Nano does not support any form of video playback, and the game support is limited to the few built-in games that come with the Nano itself.
There are some complete firmware replacements available for some models of iPod that provide some enhanced capabilities, such as Rockbox and iPodLinux, but these completely replace the firmware on the iPod with a new operating system, and you will therefore lose some of the standard iPod features such as iTunes autosync and compatibility with content purchased from the iTunes Store.

There is in fact some risk that you will void your warranty by using either of these solutions.
