Now who would want to take one of those to the gym? Not me.

I agree in that I don't think this would replace my ipod..I just think it's cool technology, hooking up to tv or dvd player and recording straight to the unit.

We just live in a very cool time...

Yep, I'll admit the technology is pretty cool (as is the Archos Multimedia Jukebox). Just not a big fan of Archos, which stands for:

A-Agonizing
R-Repairs
C-Constantly
H-Hurt
O-One's
S-Sanity

I'd love to play with one of these in person but I agree that I wouldn't necessarily use it to replace my 'pod either.

Go to the gym? What's that, Timmy? ;) I'm a pudgy, lazy person and I prefer not to excercise. :)

I would, at the very least, consider one of those newfangled Archos players the article talks about. Why? Well, yeah, you can't slip it into your pocket while weightlifting, or hold it in your hand while jogging, but you could definitely plop it down on the stairmaster/exercise bike/eliptical machine and watch videos that way. Imagine pedaling your heart out on the exercise bike while watching an episode of the Sopranos or something! :D

It's probably cheaper just to buy an exercise bike or treadmill and watch your videos from home ;)

Unless you don't have the space for an exercise bike. :p
