music cuts off short

Ok so i got some music through limewire. now that music plays fine on my computer. But when its on my ipod it cuts of 34-40 seconds in. and its not on just one song. its on a few. i would just like to know 1. how i can delete songs off of the ipod itself and 2. what i could do to fix this problem. any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I hope i posted this in the right forum. I do have a windows operating system and that was my reasoning for puting it here.

I believe this is a feature due to limewire being widely used to share music around the world (stealing).

To answer your questions:

2. Buy your music, don't steal it. Stop using limewire.

Now that's just utterly ridiculous. It's not because the songs were downloaded from LimeWire, but because the songs are corrupt. Try converting the songs in question to AAC and see if that fixes it. I had some songs that cut off early and once I converted them to AAC, they started playing normally.
