I just bought a second generation 2gig ipod nano, and in the about screen, it has the old owner's name. How can I change that to my name?

Hi and welcome to iLounge. You can change it in iTunes. Select the iPod, wait a second, and then click it again. Enter whatever you want, and then press [ENTER].

yeah you need to double click on your ipod in itunes and then type in the name that you want. It's the same thing above.

Actually, a "double-click" is faster, and will open a new window for the iPod display. To "rename" the iPod, or files or folders or just about any other object on your computer, is click-wait-click, or click twice, or however you want to describe it, but it is most certainly not "double-click", as that means something else, something specific, and something that won't get the job done in this case. Double-clicking is good for lots of tasks, but renaming isn't one of them.
