Recover artwork from iPod

Hi,

I'm using my ipod with a temporary computer, so I have been manually updating its contents. I added some new music today, but when I played the songs I noticed the artwork was missing. So I connected the ipod to the computer and checked the "display artwork" option. What happened after that was that itunes removed all of the artwork from my ipod's entire library. However, When I open my ipod's library through itunes, I can see that the artwork is still embedded in the files.

The question, then, is: how do i get my ipod to display the artwork again?

I'm not sure if this will work for a manually-managed iPod, but try un-checking the artwork option for your iPod when its connected to iTunes (make sure you Apply the change), then re-select the option and Apply again. On an auto-sync'd iPod that will force the iPod to re-build the artwork index, but I'm not sure if that's the same in manual mode.
