Long story short... my playlists are now gone... but my music is still on the computer. The playlists are saved on the iPod along with the music. Is there a way I can import the playlists or anything like that? Please help, thanks

you can use iPodrip to rebuild/export playlists.
Unfortunately it doesn't always work well for smartplaylists, they will mostly likely end up as static playlists.

Thanks for the reply. I tried that, I followed the directions, and it said it was transferring data from iPod and it wouldn't go any further than that. I waited for a 1/2 hour. Still nothing. I don't know what to do.
