Scratch

I have a very light scratch on the screen of my new iPod, don't know how it was done as I have been very very carefull with it.

Does anybody know how to get rip of a scrath from the screen.

Plus are there any carrycases that you can use the new touch ipods with that you don't have to take out every time you use it?

same here!

I took mine back to the place I bought it because the hold button wouldn't take it off hold ( worth a replacement, surely! ) - the guy wasn't having it and put it face down on his desk (GASP!!!!! ) - so, not only did I NOT get a replacement (and have waited 2 weeks for apple to pick it up), but I got a free scratched screen into the bargain - great!

anyway - I've cut up a pda screen protector and put it over the display and I can no longer see the scratch at all - I can use the pod without a case (have another protector on the back - invisible too, and it doesn't slide around so much now) I'm still getting annoyed by the hold button, but dont get me started on that!

PS. I cut the screen protector to the exact screen size, and the only way you can tell its there is by running a finger over the front of the pod.

i?m moving this to service, warranty...

check out that forum. there is a lot of info on how to remove scratches. search the database (f.e. ipodcleaner, brasso...)
