Problem with ipod - missing files

Hi
I have a problem with my ipod (80G, video).
Yesterday I charged the thing and today I disconnected that all files (music,video)
were goon ?!
The ipod didn't connect with itunes because the damn program doesn't work on my old computer :D
please help
