Has there been any workable solution to this error?
I have a 5.5G 80GB video with all of the latest software/firmware. I've done 4 of the 5 R's, but I'm not going to RESTORE. I have too much on my ipod and everything else is working okay. In additon, others with this problem that have restored hasn't helped.
The games install and sync okay. I see the game listed (iQuiz) under the "extras" menu. When I click to launch the game, the logo appears, but then a few seconds later, I get the dreaded message that "this game cannot be played. Try uninstalling and reinstalling, etc.".
I have a 30GB video and games seem to be working okay on that one.
I saw a few posts on other boards that it may have to do with the path/directory the game file is in. I wondered if anyone else has researched this. and I thought I'd see if anyone has found a solution recently. Thanks.
P.S. I've submitted the support call/email to apple.
