Anyone Know Where I Can Get....

I'm looking for a pair of 1/8" mini plugs that have three contacts. My purpose is to hook my iPod video to my portable DVD player. It seems silly to use two sets of cables and double female adapters to connect two devices with the same plugs. I'm aware that the video feed is switched on the ipods, so i'll need plugs that are made to wire yourself and the wire. I tried Radio Shack with no luck, anyone have a source?

Alternatively, u can try to find a compatible cable at eBay, cut off the wrong ends and solder those plugs which are ezier to find.

Yeah, i suppose that would work if i don't find the plugs, but they must be available somewhere.

U prefer to deal with 4 wires in a tiny barrel than 2 or 3?

Well, i was just thinking it would be cleaner than splicing wires in the middle of the cord but i suppose i could make it work. I found some cheap cables on eBay so maybe i'll give it a try. Thanks.
