I was playing my newly purchased iQuiz game on my iPod.....it was running smoothly up through the fifth bonus round, a face off between The Decemberists and Belle & Sebastian, where I would have to choose the correct album covers to make my wager. ;)
Immediately, the game froze. Not a good sign at all. I gave it some time, but absolutely nothing happened. So I reset. I should have turned the thing off instead, my bad.
So, it reset to Rockbox. As it should. Unfortunately, now when I try to reset from Rockbox, it won't go to the iPod firmware. Not good. Not good at all.

Update. iTunes recognizes the iPod....I have no idea if that means the firmware is still ok though. Granted, Rockbox could be preventing me from checking, but there's no way I'm going to remove rockbox and risk ending up with the one firmware that isn't working correctly.
Also, there needs to be a section related to games here in the forums. I really had no idea where to post this. It certainly isn't a Windows iPod problem, but that's what mine is formatted as. Anyway, it's a shame that I spent a buck on a product that zapped my little guy. :(
