Welcome. Only games purchased from iTunes store can be put on the iPod. The only other games that can be played on the iPod is if you use Rockbox. (http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=159082)

Or put games on the hard drive and load them up and play them on the computer!!! That's always fun.

I didn't think you can play the iPod games on your computer...could be wrong.
Rockbox is only capatible with 30GB/60GB 5G/5.5G models, FYI it has not yet been made compatible with 5.5G 80GB or 2G Nanos.
I recommend Zuma out of the games I've tried (Vortex, Tetris, Golf), Tetris is good except for the fact the wheel is too damn sensitive once you get in the higher levels (9+)
