I hope there is someone who can help me. I have a 3g 40gb iPod and I am trying to use it with my PC running Windows 2000. I have purchased a USB 2.0 + Fire Wire connector and installed the Music Match that came with the iPod. I have no clue what I am doing.
I thought once I had the USB cable I would simply be able to move music from Music Match to my iPod. Music Match says I need a plug in to recognise my portable player. I clicked on the link but Music Match said the plug in was not yet available. I gave up and disconnected my iPod.
Today I come back to try again and now all my iPod will do is flash a charge battery icon then a folder and exclamation icon, at me. I cant even work out if it is charging. I think its broken but I havent even been able to use it yet. Why is it so hard to use?! Can anyone help? I feel like a dunce:confused:
