Audible Manager shows that my iPod has more than 8 GBs of space available on my 10 GB drive. Yet, when trying to load a 117 MB audible file, using AudibleManager, I get the following message: "Sorry, no space on your Apple iPod. Please delete some programs and try again."

Has anyone run into this problem before? Or, better question is does anyone have a solution?

Specs:
1) 10GB
2) Windows XP Pro
3) iPod software version 2.0.1
4) Total size - 9700344
5) Amount used - 1206376

Hmm that's strange, try updating to version 2.1 and see if it works.

I had a similar problem. My solution:

Only put the iPod in its craddle when the computer is off. Then turn the computer on. Then start Audible.

I can't find software version 2.1 for Windows. Where do I find the download? I've looked in Apple's support section for Windows.
