View Full Version : Artwork from Album Folder

I see many programs and scripts to add album artwork from the net, but I'm looking for something that automatically looks for jpgs or pngs in the folder that has the mp3. I've got a bunch of folders arranged by album and they have several graphics files included - front cover, back cover, etc. I need a script or app to quickly display these and then allow me to choose which one is the front cover and then add that as artwork to all the mp3 files in that folder. The name of the front cover artwork could be anything and I don't want to have to rename them to get this to work. Many of them are hard to find online.

I'm really hoping for this because I want them to show up in coverflow... it's not as important to embed them in each mp3.

Suggestions?

I think still think it's weird that there isn't a solution for this. None of the artwork searchers out there will look for the artwork on your own hard disk? Instead, they all have to look online?

i have basicly the same problem.
as long as i have a jpg file in a specific folder, what i'd like to do is (for each track!) :

<<set artwork 1 of theTrack to theFileRef of application "Finder" as picture>>
(theFileRef is a valid file reference)

Any clue ?
