Got case for Ipod Video but wont fit in Docking station :(

Hi,

Just got back from New York where i purchased a case for my iPod Video to stop it getting scratched, its identical to this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Agent-18-Clickshield-30GB-Video/dp/B000CI0R12/ref=pd_ka_12/026-4890699-8604449?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1173574839&sr=8-12

My problem is that before i had the case i used to charge my iPod on my docking station but now it wont fit, i was going to take the case off but obviously its likely the iPod will get scratched. I know i can charge it through USB however i like having my iPod on the docking station charging while im playing music out the speakers (of the docking station). The case takes up about half a CM on either side of the iPod Video and wont fit in the slot even if i take the iPod holder adapter thingy out of the docking station.

Is there another case i can purchase which preferbly is smaller so i can keep it on all the time and my iPod still fits in the docking station ?

Is there a plastic insert inside the dock. Try removing it and see if you can dock. Also I thought the agent18 came with a doc insert, you should be using it if the case did come with one.
