Anything i should know?? is there any driver's i have to download or anything to use my 40gb 3g ipod with a usb 2.0 connector on a windows 2000 machine?

My plan is to be able to hook the ipod up to work computers (windows 2000 usb 2.0) and my home machine (windows XP firewire) back and fourth. Will this be a problem?

I want to use it at work cause we have dsl here wahoo!

You will however need the iPod USB cable adapter thing. (technical words  )

That's what I had while I was studying. USB 2.0 & 2k at tech and Firewire/XP Pro/Dock at home. Worked fine.

Worked fine. also i dont know if it matters, but im using ephpod at home and i plan on using it here at work too. Would it matter? I heard that itunes recognizes the ipod properly between 2 different computers. But the fact that i use ephpod at home might mess things up right? i already tried hooking up my new 40gb to ephpod on my XP machine and it wasn't recognized of course like i suspected. Im afraid the same thing will happen at work too
