Do the Creative EP-630 really sound similar to the CX300?

I know that the EP-630 looks the same as the Sennheiser CX300s but I have also read reviews about the EP-630 that it sounds just like Sennheiser CX300s too. I just want to clear this up so I don't have to pay double the price of the EP-630 just for the same quality.

think theyre made by the same people, just rebranded. sharp also have some (md33's) for their own MD player that areof the same design & sound really good.
