Out of these three, which one would be the best for all-around listening, leaning more towards heavier bass?

I've tried the Ety 6i and Shure e3c, but one is too light in the base department, while the other can run a bit expensive. I've found the Super.fi 3 and FS1 for roughly $80.

Thanks

Only know the D-jays, and all I can say is that they are really nice....
they have a nice firm bass, but are little dominated by the mids...
What music do you like and what do you have now ??

The SuperFi 3 is poor - astonishingly poor when you consider how nice the SuperFi 5 is.

The FS1s are mediocre, too.

For bass, there's an obvious phone that I can't mention, and then you have the Panasonic HJE70, and the Sony EX90, both of which are good for bass.

Or the SF 5 EB

Thanks for the help so guys. I've got the Sony EX85 right now, which is basically the EX90 in plastic housing instead of aluminium. I like it, but it really isn't all that great for isolating noise.

So I guess the SuperFi 3 is out of the running then?

By the way, I tend to listen to a range of music from jazz to acoustic to hip-hop. I listen to electronic music the least, I would have to say.

*Jackonicko, may I ask what you can't mention?

I'll help Jacko out here.

That would be the Vibes.

If you want eardrum punishing (and exelent bass) save up for E500 thay are amazing...

maybe you schould try the "Marshmellows" (JVC FX33), they are also nice for their price...

I have a total different musictaste than you (rock), so I do not feel comfortable giving you advice...

But still feel that the D-jays would do very well with any music, they also isolates very well and are comfortable (I wear mine 8 hours at work without any discomfort)..

Thanks again. I really was looking in the D-Jays' price range, too, as I'm looking for a little more clarity in my music than I'm experiencing right now.

So all I'm left with now is the D-Jays? Or should I go down another route?

I'd examine and research three choices:

Super Fi 5 Pro

Panasonic HJE 70

and another one or two ....

Thanks, Jacko. Just wanted to check though, the SuperFi 5s are in the D-Jays price range?
