Hi, I was considering getting good headphones and I've narrowed them down to 2 choices.
1. Bose TriPort IE In-Ear Headphones
2. V-Moda Vibe
I can't make the choice so I would really appreciate some help on deciding. Thanks.
I would buy the Bose IE's from a local store and return them if I didn't like them.
Bose is normally overpriced garbage, but their headphones and IE's are pretty darn good.
I don't know much about the V-Modas, if you are tough on your headphones, you may want to search around, I heard they aren't very durable.

If you plan on ever running with the headphones, i would advise against the Bose IE phones. I have them, and love the sound, but they do not stay in the ear well at all. I have even had problems with them while walking around the house. When walking or running, i have resorted to wearing a hat over them to prevent them from falling out.
EDIT: Also, the bose are extremely bass-heavy, which i love. Some say it is not good for midrange frequencies, but for my ears, they sound perfect.

actually I have both. first time, I thought Bose was greater for sound. but it's turned out to be too much muddy, not clear for high, mid range sound. what's more worst thing is that silicon tips whatever you put on ears, it's easily to fall off. it just doesn't stay. wire of Bose is too thick, no flexible. I really recommend not to buy Bose. I just sold it. get V-Moda. it's really greater for casual use, solid, beautiful design, offers a lot of silicon tips which are all fit well. most important part is that it's sound greater. bass is not muddy, not excceeded (well enough for jazz, dance, electronic, rock, pop, vocal) especially when you are listen to classic, jazz, dance, you will be blown away. trust me. V-moda is the most wanted earphone recently. comparing with Expensive Shure series, it's taking over Shure E2C, E3C, E4C (or similar). it's only abour $100. it's a big bargain. go get it. it has three different colors as you know. so you have more choices than others.
