I have been constantly getting this message that says "The software required for communicating with the ipod is not installed correctly, please reinstall" so when i reinstall it says --->http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/5438/itunesww6.png and i dont know what to do. Can someone please help?

Does your USB drive work properly, as it is through the USB port that the PC accesses the iPod. Check if your USB drivers are properly installed.
