Unsorted Tracklist

Greetings iPod fans,

I have a current problem associated with unsorted songs on my iPod. The curious thing is that whilst viewing the songs on iTunes, the songs appear sorted, from the very first song to the last one. However when viewing the songs on the actual iPod, the songs appear unsorted. Please note that the songs are properly listed and numbered.

This does not happen in all albums, just some.

Check your tags. Make sure that all your "Track [#] of X", as well as "Disk Y of Z" tags are all correct. You don't have to have any information in these fields (X, Y, and Z), but if you do, then all tracks on an album must have the same info (or lack thereof) or else they won't sort properly.
