My iPod is corrupted and I need help

When I plug in my iPod I get this warning

I've restored it about four times, even once in another computer, but that error always pops up and I just don't know what to do.

Can somebody please help me?

My son had the same problem. After struggling for several hours doing the same things you've tried, we decided to take it back for an exchange and no problem since. I'd recommend doing the same if it's still under warranty ...

Thank you, yeah, it's still under warranty. I just bought it in late '06.

I guess you're hard drive is busted, and its best if you exchange it, as you still are being covered by apple's warranty.

Ugh! I took it back and they said that they had fixed it and even charged me for it because apparently it was "just the software" but when I get home thrilled that my iPod was finally gonna work, IT DOESN'T WORK!
So I restored it like twice, really ####ed off, but then I calmed down and just decided to give it a one more shot and voilá, it just worked! Just like that!

Great to hear that!!

But you should definitely tell those staff about the problem you had the first two times, so that you don't suffer from the same problem later.
