Outlook contacts duplicated

All my contacts have been duplicated. I've removed them and re-synced, to no avail. I've removed them and dragged them from "Signatures" after setting up a vcard file, to no avail. When I open the contacts on the ipod with Outlook it shows no duplicates. Then when I go to the contacts on the ipod itself, there they are, in all their duplicated glory! How do i get just ONE set?

I believe that you will get duplicates if you have two email addresses if I'm not mistaken. I remember having this problem for a handful of my contacts when I would sync my contacts through iTunes. I started to use this program called Outpod (http://www.stoer.de/ipod/ipod_en.htm) that will create one vcard file for your entire contact list and it works very well.
