computer crashed - uh oh!

here's the deal..

computer crashed, ALL MEMORY LOST.

my 30GB Ipod is here, unused.

i just picked up a laptop, downloaded itunes and even logged into my account (which no songs came up).

is it ok to plug my ipod in there, or will my entire ipod be erased?

Your iPod will recognize that it is not connected to its regular library, and will ask if you want to erase everything and sync with this new library. Tell it no. Then you can enable manual mode to prevent it from further attempts at syncing, until you have restored the music to your computer after reading this thread.

Yeah. Make sure that you check the manually manage music option. Also copy your music from your i pod to your new comp using copypod or some other good software.
