Which firewire card is best?

Hi,

I want to buy a firewire PCI card but which one is best?
Do all types have the ability to charge an iPod or only some?

I've seen this one on eBay:

Adaptec 4300 is the best. That's not to say that another card might work, but the Adaptec have been by far the least trouble prone.

I don't know how much cards cost in Britian, but here in the US you could get one cheaper from Newegg.
