After being fed up with my itrips static problem and the fact that it doesnt charge without buying an extra cable, I decided to give the Scosche IPTRNSX a try. it was $20 at walmart (My itrip was $50 but on sale for $25) which I returned to buy the scosche. Not only does the Scosche charge my ipod but it has almost no static at all. it also has more punch and maintains quality at high volume. The only problem I have now is engine noise coming through the speakers. it gets a little louder as the car revs. it's not horrible but without this engine noise, my scosche would be practically static free. I am not the most electronically literate person, so I would appreciate any suggestions be in a simple to understand way. Thanks
