My iPod is working okay, everything is fine and all, but I want more iPod Games. Something other than the four games that I have played a million times and am bored out of my mind. I think 5 dollars for a game is really expensive though. I would want at least 5 games and 25 dollars is too much for that. Does Apple or any site offer free (LEGAL) games for iPod?
i dont think they have and free legal games for the ipod. that is reserved for hackers who use the sony psp, and for $5/game its not that expensive, considering they charge $0.99 a song!!!! if your music collection was at 1000 songs youd have already spent $1000 on that.

Yeah, true. I have a bunch of CDs and stuff, so I don't need to spend that on music. Imight consider games. I don't know. The limit may be PacMan and another game. lol. 10 dollarsis enough for ipod games.

I don't understand why people think $5 for a game is expensive, its not like its a 3 level demo of the game its a full version. Zuma was well worth the $5.

Yes, but it adds up to be a lot. I am looking into getting a few games though. PacMan and Zuma are the ones I want the most, so probably those.

You could always install iPodLinux so that you can run games like Doom. Then again, this is a process that should not be completed by the non-tech savvy people. Additionally, if you were to ever have something bad happen to your iPod and would need to send it in, they would send it right back to you without fixing it because iPodLinux is installed.
The best and easiest option out there is to bite the bullet and just purchase the games off of the iTunes store. Yes, $5 for games can add up but you have to look at it this way: Nintendo DS games go for around $30 and PSP games can go for $40 and $50. You aren't getting a graphically advanced game with the iPod but these games are only $5.

If the games give you pleasure, $5.00 is nothing today. Were else can you go or what else can you do today for $5.00. A hamberger and fries cost more. Skip one trip to the fast food joint and treat yourself to a game each time as a reword:D

Also, if you're only considering getting a couple, rather than the full pack, you may want to look at our Game Reviews (http://ilounge.com/index.php/news/comments/all-ipod-5g-downloadable-games-reviewed/) first. This covers the first nine games released in September. You can also read our "First Looks" at Royal Solitaire (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/ipod/review/electronic-arts-royal-solitaire/) and Sudoko (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/ipod/review/electronic-arts-sudoku/) as well, which were released a couple of weeks ago.
Personally, I find Pac-Man to be neat, but kind of difficult with the clickwheel. Ditto for Bejeweled. Not all games are well-suited for clickwheel-based controls. Zuma, however, is definitely one of the better ones, and dangerously addictive.
