Speakers?

I'm planning to buy the JBL Creatures, any comments, or other suggestions for speakers.. around 150 please.. thanks

i had some and I ended up sending them back because they sounded horrible. However, I *believe* they were defective. The bass sounded aweful coming out of them at moderately high volumes.

When I had them, though, I was not too impressed with the sound so I wasn't willing to just get them replaced. It's a shame, too, because they look awefully cool. I went for some Altec Lansing 641's instead and they're wonderful (though the woofer is gigantic).

I *LOVE* my 641s. I've played with creatures @ the Apple Store, and while they were extremely *cool,* I'd that the sound quality was just above mediocre ;)
