I created several playlists with iTunes. Obviously in the main window it shows every single song on my iTunes. How do I add only the playlists that I want to my iPod Shuffle? I don't always want every song in iTunes on my Shuffle. Besides, I'll probably have more songs in iTunes than the Shuffle will hold. How do I add just the playlists that I want to listen to? Thanks.

Choose the correct playlist in the "Autofill From" dropdown box.

Choose the correct playlist in the "Autofill From" dropdown box.
I'm new with all of this. Where do I find the "autofill from" dropdown box?

When you dock your Shuffle, a page shows up in your iTunes when the Shuffle is selected, with two tabs: Settings and Content. At the bottom of the Content tab is a bar labeled Autofill. There is a dropdown menu that lets you select where you fill from. Select the playlist you want to load, then click Autofill. Or, to fill your Shuffle with a random selection from your music library, leave the dropdown set to "Music" and click Autofill. iTunes will fill you iPod as close to capacity as possible.

Hmmm. Look at the left side of the iTunes screen. You should see a title "PLAYLISTS" just below your shuffle's name. On mine, every single non video playlist in that list shows up in the Autofill From selection. When I click on the little arrows in the Autofill From box, a box pops up with all my playlists.
Maybe we were confusing you by calling it a dropdown. It's actually a popup that you activate by clicking in the box.
