Transferring Music to a New Computer

hi everyone,

was really hoping someone could help me. i recently purchased a new laptop as my old computer burned out. i have all my music on my ipod (which i believe is a second generation, with the four buttons across the touch wheel). if i plug my ipod into my new computer, will it let me transfer music over? i've got itunes configured to my username on my new pc already.

I beleive it'll give you some kind of option once you plug in your iPod.
but don't take my word for it :/
