audible ipod offer $100 off

i just wanted to say that for christmas my dad signed up for audible for my mom and im giving her my 10gb ipod in exchange for the $100 off a 40gb ipod.

When the subscription to audible for 1 year and the ipod was purchased and the deal was finalized the whole thing only cost $402.67!! now is that a heck of a deal for a 40gb ipod or what??

what's your problem buddy? i was simply pointing out information that you left out. you made it seem like you are getting an iPod for $100. off, but that is not actually true when you factor in your annual fees for the audible service.

Dunno about that, I have the audible service and I didn't get $100 off my iPod, so seems if you plan to subscribe to audible it is 100 off.

bsoplinger dont really understand what your talking about ....but the offer is through a partner with audible.com it doesn't apply to all ipods everywhere just for signing up with audible

I subscribe to audible, did before I owned an iPod. I didn't save 100 bucks on my iPod purchase but you did, sounds like you got a deal which I agreed with.
