I've been having this question since I got my Ipod for Christmas last year. Hopefully this is the right place tht can help me.
Okay, my mom got her laptop a couple of months before last Christmas and she was only able to get internet on her user loggy thingy. Mine was not connected to the internet at the time and I didnt know how long it would take for it to work, so I downloaded Itunes and all my songs onto the conputer logged in under her.
Well when my user login thing started workin and I connected my Ipod to the computer the songs were not in the library like I had originally thought they would be. The songs did however play in my Ipod playlist window.
I was just wondering if there was a way where I can get my library logged in under my moms user to my library under myself. Or if I could just put the songs on my Ipod into my library under me. I asked a good friend who knows a lot about Ipods and she said I can't do that because Apple might think that thats pirating or something. But there is no such thing as pirating your own songs that you already paid for. I dont understand. I would deauthorize the Itunes underneath my mom's user but i think that would deauthorize the entire computer. I don't want to do that because it might deauthorize the Itunes under my user and my brothers user.
If anyone has any idea what to do, or if they know for a fact that I can't change my library let me know por favor!
