I added 126 songs to the library, I clicked sync and nothing happened. I restarted my computer still nothing, I resetted the ipod nothing happened. When I click sync the screen just flashes... It has no effect on it whatsoever, what am I doing wrong?

You didn't specify what kind of iPod you have. But it sounds like you have a Shuffle.

Sync with a shuffle does not do much, if anything at all. Shuffles are managaged manually or with Autofill.

For manual use, select your songs and drag them to your Shuffle and drop them.
For Autofill use, click on your Shuffle, and click on the Autofill button.

If you have another type of iPod, let us know someone can help.

I have an 80 gig - and just upgraded to ITUNES 7.02.16. First ITUNES would lock up upon loading - that seems to have resolved with numerous re-boots. I was unable to update the songs on the 80 gig and am now in the process of a complete restore, Hopefully, that will resolve the problem.

Ah, how I forgotten all the problems I had when I got my first IPOD many years ago. Same nonsense - which eventually resolved.

It does seem worth it - the sound on the 80 gig is substantially better than my 60.

I am running out via a pocket dock to an emmeline sr-71 amp into grado sr125's and alternately - senn hd 650's. The sound is quite transparent and detailed. A nice surpirse over and above the larger capacity.

Cheers!
